John G. Economou has extensive work experience in various leadership and managerial roles.

John G. currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Grede Holdings LLC since October 2022.

Prior to this, they worked at Dexter, where they held multiple positions. John G. was the Senior Vice President of Operations from April 2022 to November 2022 and the President Marine Division and Vice President of Operations from October 2018 to April 2022.

Before Dexter, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at Gibbs Die Casting Corporation from August 2014 to October 2018.

In their earlier career, they held the position of Vice President of Engineering at United Components, Inc. from July 2013 to July 2014. John G. was responsible for product and process engineering functions, specializing in developing new innovative products and launching aftermarket automotive parts.

Prior to that, they worked at Accuride Corporation as the Director of Manufacturing Engineering from June 2011 to July 2013. John G. was in charge of engineering new equipment and implementing lean manufacturing practices.

Earlier in their career, they held various managerial positions at AAM - American Axle & Manufacturing, including Plant Manager, Manufacturing Engineering and Launch Manager, Manufacturing Area Manager, and Sr. Manufacturing Engineering Manager. John G. managed large-scale operations and implemented improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction.

John started their career at Ford Motor Company as a Senior Process Engineer, where they gained experience in launching new transmissions in multiple plants.

John G. Economou attended the United States Military Academy at West Point from 1987 to 1991, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
