Andrew Myers is an experienced manager with a strong background in technology and customer insights. Currently serving as the Customer Insights and Assets Manager at Greater Wellington Regional Council since April 2020, Andrew focuses on the unique requirements of public transport services. Previously, Andrew held various leadership positions at NZ Police, including Manager Technology and Data and Core Systems Operations Manager, where efforts were made to enhance operational efficiency and compliance with security policies. Andrew's earlier roles at Datacom included Head of A/NZ Enterprise Tools and General Manager of UNIX, Middleware and Database Services, where significant team growth and organizational change were facilitated. Andrew also founded and led Redi Internet and Gambit Technologies in South Africa, specializing in software development and networking solutions. Andrew holds a BSc in Computer Science (Honours) from the University of the Witwatersrand.
