Rachel Martone is an experienced professional with a strong background in community service and nonprofit management. As the Distributions Coordinator at Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank since March 2021, Rachel manages over 20 monthly food distribution events, advises partners on best practices, and has operationalized a new distribution model to enhance service delivery. Previous roles include Development Coordinator at Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium and Therapeutic Services Assistant at Animal Friends, where Rachel excelled in donor relations, community program management, and volunteer training. With an academic foundation including a Master of Science in Public Policy from UCL and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh, Rachel is committed to addressing food insecurity and enhancing community engagement.
