Tom Perks is a GIS professional with significant experience in geospatial data management and analysis. Currently serving as a GIS Officer at the Greater London Authority since August 2021, Tom contributes to the Infrastructure Coordination Service by employing geospatial tools to enhance infrastructure planning and delivery in London. Previously, Tom worked as a Senior GIS Specialist at Thomson Environmental Consultants, where responsibilities included managing GIS systems and supporting a range of environmental consultancy projects. Additional experience includes roles as a GIS Analyst and Technician at ABPmer, where Tom focused on marine and coastal projects. Tom holds a Master of Science in Geographic Information and Climate Change from Swansea University and a Bachelor of Science in Geography from the University of Southampton.
