Simon Long has work experience as a Lead Project Manager - Planning London Datahub at Greater London Authority starting in May 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Manager at Idox plc from February 2008 to May 2019. Simon also worked as a Project Manager at Plantech from November 2006 to February 2008.

Simon Long attended Nottingham Trent University from 2001 to 2004, where they studied International Relations and National Security Studies. Simon completed their Bachelor of Arts degree during that time.
