Rachel Ong is the Government Relations & Advocacy Manager at Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity. Rachel has a background in public policy and advocacy, with experience as a Senior Account Executive at Strategic Elements LLC and as a Public Policy Director at The Rafferty Group, LLC. Ong also has previous experience as a Special Assistant to the Executive Director at American International Health Alliance and as a Program Analyst at an organization managing health care partnership programs. Rachel holds a Master of Arts in Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in Russian language and Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies from the University of Iowa.
