Tim Kelly is the Executive Director of Earth HQ at Global Commons Alliance, a role focused on mobilizing diverse stakeholders to safeguard the global commons since 2019. As a Co-Founder of Planet3, launched in November 2018, Tim Kelly contributes to an innovative learning platform aimed at making climate solutions accessible through exploration-based gaming. Tim Kelly has been a board member for American Prairie Reserve and Great Plains Conservation since 2012 and 2010, respectively. Previously, Tim Kelly served as President of the National Geographic Society from 2011 to 2012, having held various leadership positions within the organization over three decades. Tim Kelly's academic background includes studies at the University of Colorado Boulder.
