Ken Bossert currently serves as the Superintendent of Schools for Great Neck Public Schools, a position held since July 2023, and is also an officer with the New York State Council of School Superintendents (NYSCOSS). Prior experience includes superintendent roles at Elwood UFSD from July 2016 to July 2023 and Port Jefferson UFSD from June 2011 to June 2016, as well as an assistant superintendent position at Three Village Central School District from July 2008 to June 2011. Earlier in the career, Ken Bossert was an elementary school principal at Eastport South Manor CSD and held various roles including assistant principal and teacher. Academic qualifications feature a Bachelor of Arts in Child Study from St. Joseph's University, a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Dowling College, an Advanced Graduate Certificate in School Administration from Stony Brook University, and ongoing studies at Harvard University.
