Deirdre Thornton Henry, MBA, CTP, currently serves as the Assistant Treasurer of Treasury Operations at Great Lakes Water Authority, where responsibilities include managing a $1 billion cash and investment portfolio, cash management, treasury operations, and cash forecasting. In addition to these duties, Deirdre also fulfills the role of Interim Water Affordability Program Manager, reporting directly to the CFO. Prior experience includes positions as Treasury Manager at the Detroit Water and Sewer Department, Senior Accountant at Great Expressions Dental Centers, and Finance Manager for Pension & 401k Plans at TD Auto Finance. With a strong background in finance and treasury management, Deirdre has managed substantial portfolios at Chrysler Financial and Daimler Chrysler, contributing to strategic decision-making and operational liquidity management. Deirdre holds an MBA from Indiana University Bloomington and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
