Shelly (Cappel) Gillis is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in human resources and executive leadership. Currently serving as Senior Vice President, CHRO & CAO at Great American Insurance Group, Shelly has previously held roles including VP & CAO and VP of Human Resources within the same organization. Earlier career experience includes serving as VP of HR at Fifth Third Bank. Additionally, Shelly contributes to the community as a member of the Board of Trustees at Seton High School. Shelly holds both a Master’s degree in Labor & Employment Relations and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of Cincinnati, obtained in 1999 and 1991, respectively.
