Genevieve Pendleton is an accomplished professional in the field of insurance underwriting, currently serving as an Excess Casualty Executive Underwriter at Gray Surplus Lines Insurance Company since October 2023. Prior to this role, Genevieve held the position of Senior Excess Casualty Underwriter at James River Insurance Company from September 2015 to October 2023, specializing in underwriting profit and managing unusual or high-hazard risks. Genevieve began a career in education, serving as a First Grade Teacher with Henrico County Public Schools and a Third Grade Teacher with Gloucester County Public Schools, developing individualized learning programs. Additionally, Genevieve contributed to community education while working with the Peace Corps from February 2012 to April 2014. Genevieve earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Liberal Studies with a focus on Early Childhood Education from James Madison University between 2005 and 2010.
