Rebekah Saul Butler is co-executive director of The Grove Foundation, a 501(c)(3) philanthropic foundation, and Managing Director of Grove Action Fund, a 501(c)(4) social welfare organization. Rebekah was hired by Andy and Eva Grove to grow The Grove Foundation and cement its strategic philanthropic and operational direction. Her responsibilities have spanned program, finance and operations, and investment. Her current primary responsibility is to transition the foundation’s $150M portfolio to complete mission alignment. In this role, she oversees overall asset allocation, selects funds and managers, monitors performance, directs cash planning, and manages a programmatically aligned carveout. She also leads the Foundation’s climate justice program and provides overall co-management for all aspects of the Foundation. In 2018, Rebekah helped launch Grove Action Fund to more directly affect positive policy changes. She co-leads strategy, finance, compliance, and operations for the Fund, and directly manages the climate justice program and key state-focused efforts.
