Yerzhan Yessimkhanov serves as a Partner at GRATA since April 2011, specializing in Construction, Infrastructure, Telecoms, and Transport, and has been recognized as a Leading Individual in Real Estate & Construction by The Legal 500 EMEA from 2017 to 2021, as well as a Global Leader in Real Estate by Who's Who Legal in 2021. Prior to GRATA, Yerzhan held positions at Baker & McKenzie as Counsel and Director of the Subsoil Use Department and as a Legal Associate focusing on Construction Advisory, Real Estate transactions, and Land Use from September 2008 to April 2011. Earlier experience includes serving as Senior Project Legal Counsel at Capital Partners, managing various legal functions and government relations, and as Chief Legal Counsel at ST-group, handling import-export activities and international agreements. Yerzhan holds an LLB (Honours) in International Law from Kazakh Humanitarian Law University, completed in 2004.
