Josh Philpott began their work experience in 2013 as a Hardware Engineering Intern at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where they designed and implemented a waveform generator and established a standard packaging for FPGA designs. In 2014, they interned at the NASA Langley Research Center, working on a project to build a robotic crane for lunar surface operations. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as a Software Engineer - Tech Lead at Galatea Associates. In 2018, they joined HelloFresh as a Full-Stack Software Engineer, where they worked on the Green Chef project, developing new features for the consumer front-end and handling business logic in the back-end. In 2020, they transitioned to Scratch Kitchen as a Senior Software Engineer. Later in the same year, they moved to GrandPad for a similar role.

Josh Philpott completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of South Florida, where they studied from 2010 to 2015.
