Denys Montes de Oca serves as the Corporate Director of Sales & Marketing at Velas Resorts since June 2018, bringing extensive expertise in sales and marketing within the hospitality industry. Prior roles include Senior Director of Sales and Marketing at both Grand Velas Riviera Maya and Grand Velas Los Cabos starting July 2017, and at Grand Velas Riviera Maya since August 2016. Previously, Denys was Director of Sales and Marketing at Casa Velas Hotel Boutique and Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit from November 2012 to August 2016, and held similar positions at Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit and Grand Velas Riviera Maya from 2003 to 2016. Denys commenced a career in sales as Associate Director of Sales at Grand Velas Riviera Maya from 2007 to 2011, and as Leisure Sales Manager at Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit from 2003 to 2007. Denys holds a Master of Business Administration in Tourism and Travel Services Management from Universidad del Valle de México, obtained between 1998 and 2002.
