Kim Schmidt possesses extensive experience in alumni relations and athletic giving at Grand Valley State University, currently serving as Associate Director of Alumni Relations since April 2021. Previously held the position of Director of Athletic Giving at the same institution. Prior professional experience includes working as a Quality Control/Shipping Coordinator at Shape Corporation from 1987 to 1992. Kim Schmidt holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from Grand Valley State University, earned between 1997 and 2000, as well as a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Communications from the same university, completed from 1984 to 1988.
