Finnete Kawira is currently a Graduate Research Assistant at Grand Valley State University since January 2025, pursuing a Master of Science in Cybersecurity. Prior experience includes roles such as Software QA Engineer at Innova Limited from July 2023 to January 2025, and Project Delivery Lead and System Analyst at Turnkey Africa Ltd from June 2021 to June 2023. Earlier work includes a Software Developer position at eMobilis Mobile Technology Institute for a brief period in early 2021, and an ICT Assistant role at Kenya School of Law in early 2020. Finnete obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Information Technology with a focus on software development from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology from 2017 to 2021.
