Fatma Mili

Fatma Mili is a distinguished academic leader with extensive experience in higher education. Currently serving as Professor and Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost at Grand Valley State University since July 2022, Mili previously held the position of Dean for the College of Computing and Informatics at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from August 2017 to July 2022. Mili's tenure at Purdue University (July 2012 - July 2017) included roles as Executive Director of the Center for Trans-Institutional Capacity Building and Associate Dean for Educational Research & Development, where initiatives focused on innovative educational models. Mili also served as the inaugural director of the Purdue Polytechnic Incubator and achieved significant enrollment growth in the Computer and Information Technology department while holding various academic positions at Oakland University from 1984 to 2012. Mili holds a PhD in Computer Science from Pierre and Marie Curie University, obtained between 1979 and 1984.
