Brian Koetsier is an experienced professional in the HVACR industry, currently serving as a BMS Specialist at Grand Valley Automation, Inc. since December 2021, focusing on engineering and project management. Prior to this role, Brian worked at Havel, a Division of Shambaugh & Son LP, from May 2012 to December 2021, holding positions as an Application Engineer & Estimating Support and a Temperature Controls Estimator. Brian's early career includes a college internship at GEM Energy, where responsibilities included energy audits and utility procurement, and summer work as an HVAC Apprentice at Lamphear Service Co. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in HVACR Engineering Technology and an Associate in Applied Science in HVACR Technology from Ferris State University, as well as preliminary education from Grand Rapids Community College.
