Minyin Hart has extensive work experience in finance and accounting, particularly in the non-profit sector. Minyin currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer for Grand Canyon Conservancy since December 2019. Prior to this, they worked as an Accounting Manager at Catholic Relief Services from September 2017 to October 2019. From January 2009 to September 2017, they were an Experienced Audit Manager at SB and Company, LLC, where they specialized in financial auditing for not-for-profit organizations, federal awards, colleges and universities, and commercial entities. Minyin also provided consulting services to clients to improve their accounting practices and internal control procedures. Additionally, Minyin Hart has experience in team management, budgeting, and client relationship management.
Minyin Hart, CPA, CMA, CFE, obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Towson University, where they studied from 2006 to 2009. In 2013, Minyin achieved the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Maryland Board of Public Accountancy. In 2016, they obtained the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). Finally, in 2018, Minyin acquired the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation from the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) institution.
