Joseph Ranieri is an accomplished software engineer with over a decade of experience in the field. Currently serving as a Software Engineer III at GrammaTech since May 2018, Joseph specializes in binary rewriting, hardening transforms, program debloating, and static analysis. Prior to this role, Joseph worked at Xojo from July 2010 to May 2018 as a Senior Compiler Engineer, where responsibilities included designing and implementing language features, adding an LLVM-based backend, and enhancing the in-house debugger. Earlier in Joseph's career, as a Senior Macintosh Engineer, a transition of a cross-platform GUI framework to Cocoa from Carbon was managed. Joseph began at Lightspeed Commerce as a Software Developer from December 2007 to July 2010, contributing to an incremental rewrite effort from REALbasic to Cocoa and promoting essential software engineering practices.
