Michael Simpson is the current President and CEO of Gramercy Extremity Orthopedics. Prior to their current position, Michael was the President Global Spine at Orthofix from June 2002 to February 2012. Michael was responsible for overseeing all FDA audits and ISO certifications, as well as complete P&L responsibility. Michael was also the Group Business President and North American President Orthopedics at Orthofix from 2009 to 2010 and 2007 to 2008 respectively. From February 2012 to August 2014, they were the President and Chief Executive Officer at Small Bone Innovations, Inc.

Michael Simpson has a Bachelor of Science in Business/Management Information Systems from The University of Texas at Dallas. Michael has experience working in business and systems, and is currently pursuing a career in business administration.
