Jennifer Mellum

Vice President, Customer Experience at GRAIL

Jennifer Mellum is a highly experienced professional with a diverse background in various industries. Jennifer is currently serving as the Vice President of Customer Experience at GRAIL, Inc. (since May 2021). Prior to this, Jennifer worked at Prime Therapeutics for seven years, where they held the position of Senior Director of Customer Experience & Insights (from March 2014 to April 2021). During their tenure at Prime Therapeutics, Jennifer led initiatives that greatly improved key customer experience metrics, increased retention, and enhanced digital self-service satisfaction.

Before joining Prime Therapeutics, Jennifer served as the Head of Marketing at LUMO BodyTech Inc. for a brief period, where they achieved significant sales growth and optimized cost per acquisition (CPA). Jennifer also held the role of VP Marketing | Marketing Consultant at ROTA Mobility Inc., where they handled all aspects of product and corporate marketing, including fundraising efforts. Additionally, Jennifer worked as a Marketing & Consumer Insights Consultant at MetroMile, where they contributed to early-stage consumer discovery and market research.

Earlier in their career, Jennifer had notable roles at Risk Management Solutions, Inc. Jennifer first served as the Principal of Analytical Services, leading numerous consulting engagements with global insurers/reinsurers. Jennifer then moved on to become the SVP of Product Marketing, establishing a new product marketing function and achieving revenue growth. Subsequently, Jennifer took on the role of VP of Product Management, overseeing software product management, ideation, and creating long-term roadmaps.

Jennifer Mellum began their career at The Clorox Company, where they excelled as a Brand Manager for three business lines, driving impressive revenue growth and leading strategic projects.

Jennifer Mellum has a Bachelor's degree in Quantitative Economics and Psychology from Stanford University. Jennifer also holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. In addition to their formal education, Jennifer has obtained several certifications including "Human-Centered Service Design," "Activating Strategy," and "Designing Strategy" from IDEO U. Jennifer obtained the certifications in August 2022, December 2022, and February 2023 respectively.
