Marien van Buuren is an experienced educator and leader in technology and media education, currently serving as Teamleider Software Developer at Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam since August 2019, where responsibilities include overseeing the Software Developer program. Marien has also taught Mediatechnologie at the MBO 4 level, coached GLRXTRA, and served as a mentor coordinator for first-year students. Prior to this role, Marien was an informatics teacher at Laurens Lyceum, where responsibilities included coordinating havo 3 & 4 and digitalizing education. Additional experience includes teaching informatietechnologie at Roncalli mavo, working as a creative consultant for detainees at Penitentiaire Inrichting Krimpen, and various positions in project management and interior advising. Marien holds a Bachelor’s degree from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, earned in July 2009.
