Nitin Dahiya currently serves as a Senior Portfolio Manager for Direct Private Opportunities at BlackRock since 2018. Prior to this role, Nitin gained significant experience at Paulson & Co. focusing on Special Situations, Distressed, and Credit from 2012 to 2018. Previous positions also include roles in high yield and distressed credit at KLS Diversified Asset Management, credit research at Nomura Securities, and high yield research at Lehman Brothers/Barclays Capital from 2003 to 2009. Nitin holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and a B.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, along with professional credentials from the CFA Institute and a brief educational stint at the China Europe International Business School.
