Veronica (Diaz) Lode RDN, LDN, CDCES has extensive experience in the field of nutrition and diabetes management. Their most recent role is as a Lead Nutritionist at Gradia Health, where they educate patients on nutrition interventions for GI related disorders and Fatty Liver Disease. Veronica (Diaz) also leads a team of Registered Dietitians, Certified Nutrition Specialists, and Mindset Coaches, and creates clinical protocols and materials.

Prior to their current position, Veronica worked as a Nutrition Therapy and Diabetes Consultant at Veronica Diaz Lode Consulting, where they provided personalized nutrition therapy and education, as well as diabetes management services in both English and Spanish, to individuals, groups, and corporations.

Veronica also has experience at Tandem Diabetes Care, where they held several positions including Clinical Liaison Support Specialist, Territory Manager, and Clinical Training Manager. In these roles, they trained and supported individuals with diabetes on insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitoring systems, launched new systems, improved access for people with diabetes in the San Diego area, and provided clinical education and mentorship to clinical diabetes specialists.

Additionally, Veronica has worked as an Insulindependence University Faculty Dietitian at Insulindependence, a Lead Facilitator at Healthy Interactions, a Nutrition Director at Diabetes Training Camp, a Clinical Diabetes Support Consultant at Practice Therapeutics, and an Outpatient Dietitian and Diabetes Educator at Swedish Covenant Hospital. Veronica (Diaz) also has experience as a Community Nutrition Educator at the University of Illinois Chicago and as an In-patient Dietitian/Diabetes Educator at Jackson Park Hospital.

Veronica (Diaz) Lode RDN, LDN, CDCES completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition and Kinesiology - Exercise Physiology at the University of Illinois Chicago from 1996 to 2002. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's degree in Integrative and Functional Nutrition at Saybrook University, which they are expected to complete in 2023.
