Layal Zaatari is an Urban Planner at Ras Al Khaimah Municipality Department since May 2023, collaborating with the Urban Planning team on the masterplan development for Ras Al Khaimah Municipality in the UAE. Previously, Layal worked as an Architect and Landscape Architect at Saudi Tumpane from May 2022 to April 2023, focusing on large-scale landscape urban projects such as the Al Madina Housing Project and The Red Sea Project, while also participating in the preparation of tender documents. Earlier experiences include serving as a Research Assistant at UPLoAD, where Layal evaluated WASH projects for the Norwegian Refugees Council, and working as an Architect/Landscape Designer at ZMK Landscape Architects, developing design concepts and detailed drawings. Layal began professional training through internships at various firms, building a solid foundation in architecture and landscape design. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Urban Planning from Lebanese University and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Beirut Arab University.
