Marian Gayed has extensive experience in various roles focused on community service and support. Currently serving as a Representative for the Government of Canada since August 2021, Marian previously worked as a Future Bright Facilitator at The Elizabeth Fry Society of Greater Vancouver from May 2020 to August 2021. Additional experience includes serving as a Transition House Worker at Options Community Services from November 2018 to August 2021 and as a Tenant Support Worker at Abbotsford Community Services from April 2018 to January 2020. Earlier roles included positions as a Barista at Starbucks, a Behavior Interventionist at Monarch House, a Credit Counselor at CIBC, and a Cashier at Target. Marian Gayed holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Criminology from Simon Fraser University, completed in 2019, and a high school degree from Heritage Woods Secondary School, obtained in 2014.
