Carlos Eduardo Batista is a seasoned researcher in the field of genetics and plant breeding, currently serving as a postdoctoral researcher at APTA since March 2017. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral position at the Universidade Federal de Goiás and a post-doctoral researcher role at Embrapa. Carlos also worked as a practical classes tutor at UNIVESP and completed a Ph.D. internship at the University of Pretoria. Carlos began a research internship at Embrapa in 2002. Academically, Carlos holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Genetics and Plant Breeding from USP, alongside a Master's degree from the same institution and a Bachelor's degree from Universidade Estadual da Paraíba.
