Bright Nwaru is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in editorial roles, currently serving on the editorial boards of Plos One, Scientific Reports, and Frontiers in Allergy. Nwaru holds the position of Associate Professor at the University of Gothenburg and is an Honorary Fellow and Research Fellow at the Usher Institute, The University of Edinburgh. Additionally, Nwaru is an Adjunct Professor of Epidemiology at Tampere University and has held previous research fellowship positions at the National Institute for Health and Welfare and the University of Tampere. Nwaru earned a Ph.D. in Epidemiology from Tampere University, along with master's degrees in Public Health from Imperial College London and in Philosophy from the University of Oslo, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Andrews University.
