Emma Backman has over a decade of experience in digital content management and communications, currently serving as Digital Content Manager at Göteborg & Co since March 2010. Emma has held various roles, including Digital Communicator, Social Media Manager, and Communications Officer for the European Athletics Indoor Championships. Prior to this, Emma worked as a Project Manager at Ladyfest Göteborg and Västra Götalandsregionen, and gained editorial experience at Ful and Tromb. Emma started as a freelance reporter soon after graduation, contributing to multiple publications. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Gothenburg and a certificate in Social Media Strategy from Berghs School of Communication.
