Patrick Spizzo has had an extensive career in software engineering and development, with a particular focus on security. Patrick is currently working as a Principal Software Architect at GoSecure. In 2015, Patrick founded Akeso Enterprises, LLC, where they served as the Owner and Software Engineer, creating WellTrackToolkit.com, a web application for health practitioners.

Patrick also has experience at DAIS Technology, Inc., where they worked as a Principal Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer. At Hyatt Hotels Corporation, they held the role of Senior Software Engineer, working on full-stack web development for online hotel reservations.

One of Patrick's previous positions was at IBM, where they held several roles including Senior Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer Team Lead. Their responsibilities included designing and developing automation solutions, web-based tools, and a voice-enabled cognitive solution for the MSS ACE team and SOC. Patrick also played a key role in improving reliability, scalability, and coverage of device monitoring systems and developing back-end systems to support managed security services.

Throughout their career, Patrick has demonstrated a passion for technology and a strong ability to lead development teams, implement new technologies, and improve processes and technologies to support managed service offerings. Patrick has a wealth of experience in various programming languages and technologies such as PHP, Laravel, REST, jQuery, and MySQL.

Patrick Spizzo attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering.
