As Principal of Gold Aspen Consulting, Rich travels between Boulder, Milwaukee, and Paris—racking up frequent flier miles while coaching companies on how to reach their full potential.

“Whenever I look at companies to invest in, I ask myself three questions,” says Rich. “One, can I provide something of value? Two, can I learn something that I don’t already know? And finally, will I enjoy working with the team?”

Based in Boulder, Richard enjoys “the usual Colorado activities” including skiing, biking, and hiking (he’s climbed 28 fourteeners so far). Frequent travel provides Richard and his family the opportunity to experience new cultures, understand how people interact, and do really cool things like visit the Great Wall of China and hike the Grand Canyon from top to bottom.
