Shanshan Ding is a data science leader with extensive experience in building and managing data teams. Currently serving as Data Science Lead at Google since June 2022, Shanshan previously held roles at Hinge as VP of Data, where oversight of data operations and team growth was a key focus, and as Director of Data Science, responsible for expanding the team significantly. Shanshan's background also includes positions as a Senior Data Scientist at Compass, where a real estate recommender system was developed, and various academic roles, such as Adjunct Faculty Member at Columbia University and Graduate Research and Teaching Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania. Educational credentials include a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Mathematics and Economics from Columbia University.
