Sahil Gaba is a highly skilled Software Engineer with extensive experience at leading technology companies. Currently at Google since April 2021, Sahil has contributed to significant projects such as launching the Local Assistant on the Pixel watch and migrating various services to new infrastructures. Prior experience at Amazon from July 2019 to April 2021 involved developing innovative algorithms for item recommendations and enhancing product categorization using advanced machine learning techniques. Earlier, at FinTech from March 2017 to June 2019, Sahil focused on backend development for trading platforms and region-specific solutions. Sahil holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
