Rex Gibson is an experienced data scientist and music producer, currently serving as a Senior Staff Data Scientist - Product at Google since December 2019, where leadership of internal BI infrastructure for Google Cloud is a primary focus. In addition to this role, Rex has a rich background in data analytics, having held positions such as Manager of Data & Analytics at Google, Director of Data & Analytics at Looker, and Director of Data Insights at Knewton, among others. Rex's extensive freelance work as a music producer and engineer showcases a lifelong passion for music, while previous roles in various companies highlight expertise in data management, business intelligence, and technical analysis. Rex holds a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies and Music Technology from Webster University.
