Lu Jiang is a Staff Research Scientist and TLM at Google, specializing in content creation, Generative AI, and Multimodal Foundation Models since May 2017. Previous roles at Google include Senior Research Scientist and Research Scientist, focusing on robust deep learning, machine perception, computer vision, and AutoML for Enterprise AI. In addition to work at Google, Lu Jiang serves as an Adjunct Professor at Carnegie Mellon University's Language Technologies Institute and has held the position of Panelist for AI at the National Science Foundation since July 2019. Lu Jiang's early career includes research positions at Carnegie Mellon University, Yahoo Research, Google Research, Microsoft Research, and Xi'an Jiaotong University, with a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from Carnegie Mellon University and additional qualifications in Computer Science from prestigious institutions.
