Kristen Olson is a seasoned Staff UX Researcher at Google DeepMind since May 2024 and has been with Google since October 2015, focusing on AI features such as Google Lens, Google AI Studio, and the People + AI Guidebook, particularly in data labeling quality and policy compliance. Prior experience includes roles as a Designer in Residence at General Assembly, K-5 Affiliate at Code.org, Sales Specialist at MIR Corporation, Production Coordinator at Learning Tree International, and a Fulbright Scholar English Teaching Assistant with the U.S. Department of State. Kristen Olson also contributed to the education sector as a Teach for America Corps Member and served as an office receptionist at the University of Washington. Kristen Olson holds a Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction + Design from the University of Washington and has completed a Certificate in Public Policy Innovation from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
