Heiko Waechter is a seasoned UX Design Manager currently leading a multidisciplinary team at Google Geo in New York since November 2018, focusing on creative direction and product roadmap influence. Previously, Heiko served as Group Director of Experience Design at Huge, managing the UX department and driving digital transformation for strategic client accounts. At Deloitte Digital, as Director of Experience Design, Heiko built an award-winning team and integrated user experience with traditional consulting. Earlier roles include experience as a lecturer at RMIT University and various design positions in agencies and freelance work. Heiko holds degrees in Interactive Design and Communication Design from RMIT University and other institutions, alongside a background in Mandarin studies.
