Chika Ando is a seasoned UX researcher with extensive experience across multiple tech organizations. Currently serving as a UX Researcher at Google since January 2021, Chika leads user research for the Compose UI toolkit in Android development. Prior to this role, Chika was the Director of User Research at AppDynamics, where the user research practice was established and managed. Chika has held leadership positions at Docker, Inc. as Principal User Researcher, Citrix as Lead User Researcher, and Autodesk as Senior User Researcher, focusing on ethnographic studies and user adoption processes. Additional expertise includes a role as User Research Consultant and foundational research positions at Stanford University, complemented by a strong educational background including an M.A. in Educational Technology from Stanford University and a B.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science from Tsuda College.
