Amelia Hart is currently the Director at Goodwill Industries - Knoxville Inc. Amelia has nearly two decades of experience in accounting and education.

Amelia started their career as an Assistant Professor of Accounting and Accounting Discipline Curriculum Coordinator at Lee University. In this role, they were responsible for bringing together the different elements of the accounting degree program to deliver a relevant and competitive curriculum. This included participating in the interviewing process of new faculty, evaluating adjunct faculty, preparing weekly reports for Chair on action items and activities of the accounting faculty, administering meetings with current accounting faculty, and organizing Continuing Professional Education seminars for area professionals.

During their time at Lee University, they also taught upper-division courses including Auditing, Advanced Auditing, Intermediate Accounting ad Financial Reporting, Managerial Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, CPA Review and Advanced Problems, and Governmental and Nonprofit Accounting. In addition, they developed professional relationships with stakeholders to create opportunities for students and meet needs of business and community. Amelia also spoke and presented at various venues from Chamber to Commerce to Middle and High Schools.

In 2016, they left Lee University to take on the role of Associate Professor Graduate Programs at Lincoln Memorial University. In this role, they instructed online and traditional courses in the Accounting Concentration.

Now, Amelia is the Director at Goodwill Industries - Knoxville Inc. where they use their skills and experience to help lead the organization.

After completing their undergraduate degree at Lee College, Amelia Hart pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Masters of Accounting (MACC) at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Amelia then went on to earn their Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from Anderson University. In addition to their degrees, they hold certifications from the AICPA in Chartered Global Management Accountant, from the State of Georgia in Certified Public Accountant, and from Intuit in QuickBooks Online Advanced Certified.
