Maggie Cannell's work experience includes various roles in the legal and financial sectors. Maggie is currently working at GoodLeap as a Senior Counsel, Capital Markets since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at the same company as a Counsel, Capital Markets from March 2021 to May 2023. Before joining GoodLeap, Maggie worked at Milbank LLP as an Associate from June 2019 to January 2021. Maggie also worked at DLA Piper as an Associate from March 2018 to June 2019, and at Reed Smith LLP as an Associate from September 2017 to March 2018. Maggie gained valuable experience in the legal field as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Justice Sabrina S. McKenna at the Hawaii State Judiciary from August 2016 to August 2017. Maggie also worked as a Summer Associate at INPEX Corporation in July 2015. Maggie's early career includes working as an Account Executive at Hypebeast from August 2012 to April 2013 and as part of the Client Management team for Asian Equities at HSBC from May 2011 to August 2012.

Maggie Cannell received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Fordham University in May 2010. Maggie then went on to pursue a Juris Doctor degree at The University of Texas School of Law from 2014 to 2016, receiving their JD in May 2016.
