Vojtěch Luhan has over 10 years of experience in various roles related to information security, compliance, and risk management. Vojtěch started their career in 2011 as an Invigilator at Scio and later worked as a Software Developer at Barclays Investment Bank in 2013. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as a Business Analyst & Consultant at KPMG Czech Republic, where they provided strategic advisory services in the management consulting team, focusing on IT compliance and risk management.

In 2017, Vojtěch joined GoodData, where they held several roles related to information security, compliance, and risk. Vojtěch started as a Program Manager and was involved in establishing processes and managing risk to align with security and compliance requirements and the company's business strategy. Vojtěch also played a key role in efforts towards GDPR regulation compliance, ensuring ongoing SOC 2 Type II certification, and participating in ISO 27001 framework implementation.

Vojtěch's responsibilities and expertise expanded as they moved up the ranks at GoodData. Vojtěch worked as a Senior Program Manager, Manager, and eventually became the Head of Security & Compliance. In their latest role, they led a team of information security specialists, ensuring the overall security of GoodData's product and aligning the company's information security program with business objectives and relevant certifications, regulations, and frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and CCPA.

Prior to their career in information security and consulting, Vojtěch gained experience in various industries and roles, including being an Ice-hockey Referee at the Czech Ice-Hockey Confederation, a Senior Invigilator at the British Council, and a Bike Tours Leader at AVE Travel. Vojtěch also worked as Academic and Non-Academic Staff at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University in Prague, and as a Product Manager at IS4 Technologies s.r.o.

Vojtěch Luhan has a Master's degree in Mathematical Methods of Informational Security from Charles University, which they obtained from 2010 to 2014. Vojtěch also participated in academic student exchanges during their time at Charles University, spending one semester at the University of Split, Rector's Office in 2011 and another semester at Univerza na Primorskem in 2010-2011. Prior to their Master's degree, Vojtěch completed their Bachelor's degree in General Mathematics from Charles University between 2007 and 2010. Vojtěch graduated from Gymnasium Budějovická with Distinction in 2007, where they studied General Studies. Additionally, Vojtěch has obtained several certifications, including Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA) from ISACA in 2022, Czech Republic Tourist Guide Certification from Ministerstvo pro místní rozvoj in 2021, ITIL Foundation from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2017, Chimney Climber License from The Union of Czech Chimney Climbers in 2007, and Ice-hockey Referee License from Czech Hockey Federation in 2005.
