Dr. Martin Vogelsang currently serves as a Member of the Management Board at goodcarbon Foundation, focusing on climate crisis, biodiversity loss, and social inequality since January 2023. Additionally, Dr. Vogelsang has been the Director (pro bono) of the Social Synergy Foundation since April 2015, where efforts are directed towards supporting small to medium-sized non-profits in India. Prior experience includes roles such as Managing Director at Bundesinitiative Impact Investing (2018-2022), Germany Country Representative for the European Venture Philanthropy Association (2016-2019), and Managing Director and co-founder of Fem S3. Dr. Vogelsang has also lectured at The Berlin School of Economics and Law, and founded GuideStar, where significant funding was secured under the EU's eTEN program. Previous consultancy work included a role as Managing Partner at Area Consulting, and a diverse background in communication strategy with Burson-Marsteller. Dr. Vogelsang holds a PhD in Business Ethics from the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt and a Master of Arts in Political Science from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
