Bruce Friedrich is an advisor at Good Startup. Prior to that, they were the director of policy at Farm Sanctuary, a nonprofit animal protection organization. Bruce also worked as a teacher for Teach for America in Baltimore City Public Schools. In addition, Bruce has also held various positions at the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), including vice president of international grassroots campaigns.
Bruce Friedrich studied economics, English, and religion as an undergraduate at Grinnell College. Bruce then went on to complete a Master of Arts in Education at The Johns Hopkins University. After working for a time, Bruce Friedrich enrolled at Georgetown University Law Center to earn their Juris Doctor degree. Finally, they took some general courses in economics at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
