Rakesh Sapkota is a highly experienced structural designer and manager currently working at Golyan Group since November 2021, focusing on feasibility and detail engineering design for hydropower projects. Previously, Rakesh held various roles at Hydro-Consult Engineering Limited from November 2016 to October 2021, including project manager and senior structural engineer, contributing to multiple hydropower initiatives. Rakesh also gained international experience at Multiconsult ASA in Oslo as a project engineer, engaged in structural analysis and design for hydropower structures. Earlier positions include structural engineer at Hydro Consult Engineering Ltd. and site engineer at East West Engineering Services. Rakesh holds a Master's in Structural Engineering from the Institute of Engineering, Nepal, and a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from Kathmandu Engineering College.
