Mikhail Krel is a seasoned finance and technology professional with extensive experience in asset management. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Technology for the External Investing Group at Goldman Sachs since November 2012, Mikhail has previously held various leadership roles within the firm, including Vice President of Technology for Alternative Investments and Manager Selection, as well as positions within GSAM focusing on Private Equity Technology. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Mikhail worked as a Software Developer at Aristeia Capital and Enterprise Air. Mikhail holds a Master of Science in Financial Engineering from New York University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Binghamton University.
