Baffour Abedi is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in private credit and capital solutions, currently serving as a Managing Director in the Private Credit Group at Goldman Sachs since September 2022. Previously, Abedi held a similar role at Neuberger Berman within the Capital Solutions Group from April 2019 to September 2022. Prior experience includes being a Principal at River Birch Capital, focused on high yield and distressed credit investments from 2010 to 2019, and serving as a Vice President at Goldman Sachs from 2004 to 2009, specializing in high yield and distressed proprietary investing as well as investment banking in leveraged finance. The early career began at McKinsey & Company as an Analyst from 2000 to 2002. Abedi holds degrees from Harvard Business School and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
