Ali Elmasry is a highly motivated individual currently serving as a Summer Analyst at The Carlyle Group since June 2024. Ali holds the position of Treasurer and is an Operating Committee Member at Columbia Financial Investment Group (CFIG) from October 2023. Additionally, Ali works as an Analyst at BlackGen Capital since October 2023 and previously participated in the Future of Finance Accelerator at Point72 from December 2023 to February 2024. Prior experience includes a role at Bloomberg from May 2023 to December 2023, where Ali developed expertise in the Bloomberg Terminal and financial data management, and a consulting externship at PwC during the summer of 2023, focusing on donor assessment for non-profit initiatives. Ali is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics-Mathematics and Computer Science at Columbia University, expected to graduate in May 2026, and is a graduate of Newark Academy (June 2022).
