Chris Smit CA(SA) has extensive experience in financial management and auditing, currently serving as Executive: Finance at Goldfields Logistics since January 2019, with responsibilities including monthly financial reporting. Prior to this role, Chris held the position of Associate Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers from May 2008 to December 2018, where the focus was on auditing private companies and public entities, as well as accounting work for smaller entities. Chris began the career as an Article Clerk at Jonker and Partners from January 2001 to December 2004, followed by a role as Senior Auditor/Accountant at Bruce du Plooy CA(SA) from January 2005 to May 2008. Academic qualifications include a Chartered Accountant designation from SAICA, a PPE from IRBA, an Honours-Baccalaureus Computationis, and a Baccalaureus Computationis, all in Auditing and Accounting.
